Disability card: 7-year validity and online applications
The decree on the disability card was published in Official Bulletin No. 7376, implementing Framework Law 97.13.
What the decree provides
- Validity: 7 years, renewable
- Creation of an online platform for applications
- Medical assessment based on Ministry of Health criteria
- Social participation assessment by a social worker

Easier access to the rights linked to the card (education, employment, transport, social protection) and fewer administrative trips.
